INCLUSION

What is C6?

• The C6 inclusive division is a netball competition for females with integration challenges, suitable for ages 14 and over (exceptions can be applied for participants younger).

• A really cool opportunity to make new skills, learn about playing in a team and working together, increase social skills and have a physical outlet.

What makes us different?

• We are fortunate to have an inclusion coordinator with an allied health background that supports the running of the program. This means communication and organization is made easy!

• We have sponsors for our C6 team that support the financial viability of the program.

• Once in the team, we have a whole club STACK app for communication – how easy is that!

When?

• Winter season only, running from April to September

• Club training or trials generally begin in late February and March

How?

• For a player to be eligible to play in the C6 Inclusive Division the player must meet at least 2 of the following eligibility criteria in the year of the competition:

(a) be a minimum of 14 years of age at the commencement of the season

(b) be approved to receive support through the National Disability Insurance

(d) be attending a Special Education School (disability unit / supported learning

(e) centre);

(f) be attending a mainstream school with support;

(g) be in receipt of a Disability Support Pension; and/or

(h) be registered with a Disability Service Provider.
